The teenager accused of impersonating a Chicago police officer was released from custody this weekend. The 14-year-old had been held since the incident occurred at a South Side police station in late January.

Among other things, the teen allegedly spent time in a patrol car with another officer.

A juvenile court judge ruled Friday morning that the teen would wear an electronic monitor and be confined to his home.

The boy has pleaded not guilty to charges.
