2 charged in teen's shooting death

Family hit with 2nd shooting death in weeks

The family of a Chicago teenager slain in a triple murder is now mourning another loss. The boy's older brother has also been shot to death.Police found 18-year-old Carnell Pitts near East 92nd Street and Brandon late Friday night. He had been shot in the back after he apparently got into an argument with someone at a house party.

Police have charged one teenager and one juvenile in the murder. Seventeen-year-old Tyrese Castleberry of Chicago is charged with murder, along with a 15-year-old boy.

Carnell Pitts was the older brother of 17-year-old Kendrick Pitts, who was one of three teenagers who were shot and killed February 20 near 87th Street and Exchange.
