½ cup butter
½ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup raisins (chopped)
1 cup sugar
½ teaspoon clove
Preparation
Cream butter and add sugar gradually
Then add applesauce and beat until smooth
Now add dry ingredients sifted together
Beat well
Fold in raisins
Pour into loaf-cake pan, greased and floured.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for at least 1 hour.
