The pirate craze continues, and some students are even trying to turn it into homework! The University of Chicago is offering a course called "Intensive Study Of A Culture: Pirates." More undergraduates registered for the anthropology class than almost any other course for the spring quarter.

The professor says it won't be all Johnny Depp and swashbuckling on the high seas. The pirates to be covered will range from the traditional Caribbean type to modern software piracy and financial plunderers like Bernard Madoff.

Students will take a trip to the field museum for the "Real Pirates" exhibit. And in case you're wondering, the class is already filled to the max.
