Reward offered in 2008 hit-and-run case

More than a year has passed since 23-year-old Ashley Brown was struck by a car and killed.Saturday, Cook County Crime Stoppers announced a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Family members joined Crime Stoppers to pass out fliers at 75th and State streets, where Brown and her friend were struck on March 10, 2008 at 1:30 a.m.

Investigators say they believe the hit-and-run was an accident, but they are urging anyone with information to come forward.
