Police are searching for the person who shot a man to death inside a west suburban home. The victim is Vincent Williams of Plainfield. On Tuesday afternoon, police responded to a battery call at a home on 7th Avenue in Maywood. They found Williams' body in the laundry room of his late father's home. Williams had been shot multiple times in the head. Police say a preliminary investigation points to robbery as a motive for the homicide.
