Caramel Apple Dip

April 8, 2009 Ingredients:
  • 2 Packages cream cheese (8 oz); softened
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 1 Jar caramel sauce
  • ¼ Jar butterscotch sauce
  • 1 cup dry roasted peanuts; chopped
  • 6 Eating apples (granny smith, honey crisp, braeburn, red delicious, gala); washed and cut into wedges
  • Directions:

    1. In a small bowl combine cream cheese and sugar. Stir until well combined
    2. Spread layer of cream cheese in an 8 x 10 serving platter
    3. In a small bowl combine caramel and butterscotch sauces
    4. Pour sauce in an even layer over cream cheese mixture
    5. Sprinkle an even layer of chopped peanuts on top of caramel
    6. Refrigerate until set
    7. Serve with apple slices for dipping
