Police say he killed 35-year-old Fertamia Smith and hid her body inside the trunk of a car. She disappeared last Sunday.
Police say Randle went to a lawyer on Wednesday, gave him the keys to a car, and told him Smith's body could be found inside.
Smith and Randle have four children.
