Cab crashes into Loop restaurant

April 14, 2009 (CHICAGO) The taxi slammed into the doors of Petterinos, located at Randolph and Clark, sending glass onto the sidewalk around 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

No one was seriously hurt. Two people declined medical treatment at the scene.

The cab driver, 38-year-old Taufeek Rahman, said he was struck by another vehicle when he stopped to pick up a fare.

According to Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, only minor damage was reported at the restaurant.
