Family of man killed in crash awarded $13.5M

The family of a car salesman killed while another man took a test drive in a BMW has been awarded $13.5 million.In 2004, Roger Czapski was in the passenger seat when Christopher Maher crashed the car into a light pole in South Barrington. Maher and two of his friends who were in the back seat survived.

Witnesses, including the two men in the backseat, said the car was going about 95 miles an hour when it crashed.
