A community meeting Tuesday night on the city's West Side over Chicago's 2016 Olympic bid erupted in shouts as opponents argued with supporters. While 20\16 supporters at the meeting welcomed the potential improvements the Games will bring to the Douglas Park neighborhood, opponents argue money can be better spent on improving schools and city services.

Opponents also fear the Games will displace residents, drive the city into debt and send property taxes soaring.
