Many people take over-the-counter pain relievers without a lot of thought. But the federal government says, if overdone, these painkillers can be harmful to your health. That's why the Food and Drug Administration says labels will carry new, bolder warnings about the risk's of liver damage or stomach bleeding. These products include Advil and Tylenol.

Separately, other painkillers known as non-steroidal anti inflammatory drugs will carry bold warnings about the risk of stomach bleeding. Such drugs include Bayer aspirin products.
