Blame brain for junk food cravings

May 1, 2009 A report in the journal Science says two areas of the brain work together to give some people the self-control to reject unhealthy food.

Brain scans show significant difference in the brain activity between people who have food choice control those who don't. What they also found is people with no self-control only take into consideration the taste of food.

Those with control can act on health considerations ..before reaching for a candy bar or a bag of chips.
