CTA expands Bus Tracker

May 11, 2009 (CHICAGO) The CTA Bus Tracker- a web-based program that uses GPS- provides customers with estimated bus arrival times. Starting on May 18, CTA customers can sign up to receive scheduled e-mails and text messages about their bus routes.

The program can be set for various bus routes, bus stops, and directions of travel, according to a release from the CTA. Also, the messages will be sent within a designated timeframe at intervals of 5 to 30 minutes.

To register for an email or text message, visit ctabustracker.com.
