Illinois state lawmakers will soon begin debating Gov. Quinn's budget proposal that includes billions of dollars in cuts in state programs. In Chicago on Tuesday, Quinn said his administration is preparing to release details that will show what will happen to human services, education and health care if those who advocate even deeper cuts get their way.

Critics say the $1.1 billion in cuts Quinn is proposing should be quadrupled to more than $4 billion.

Quinn is hosting a dinner meeting with legislative leaders on Tuesday night at the governor's mansion to discuss the budget.
