El Valor honors 2 Chicagoans

May 18, 2009 (CHICAGO) The group El Valor held its annual awards banquet on Monday night at the Chicago Hilton and Towers.

ComEd's John T. Hooker received the founder's award and Illinois Supreme Court Justice Anne Burke was honored with the Excellence in Community Leadership Award.

The El Valor organization provides services that promote early childhood development and works with adults with disabilities.
