Belushi, Murray, Cusack may team up with Cubs

The Chicago tribune reports that investment banker Tom Ricketts, who is trying to buy the team has talked three prominent actors: Wilmette native Bill Murray, Chicagoan Jim Belushi, and Evanston's John Cusack.

Ricketts apparently wants to see if they're interesting in becoming investors.

The Sports Business Journal is reporting that Ricketts has lined up $450-million in financing from three banks, which is needed to close deal.

The sale must be approved by baseball owners, as well as the court that is handling the bankruptcy filing by the Cubs current owner, The Tribune Company.
