A Hispanic man approached the girl as she was walking and attempted to lure her into his van, the alert said. The girl ran to a nearby drug store and called her mother, who reported the incident to police.
The offender is described as a 40-year-old Hispanic man with a large afro and a long beard. He was driving an older model burgundy and tan passenger van, according to the alert.
