The company says it will help prevent scalping and stop people who re-sell tickets for more than face value.
It plans to begin using the technology this fall during the Miley Cyrus tour.
Instead of being admitted with a traditional ticket entry will be gained by scanning the credit card at the venue that was used to purchase the tickets. A seat locator slip will then be handed out.
