The award is given to people and organizations dedicated to improving human relations in the community.
ABC7 president and general manager Emily Barr received this year's arts and media award.
The Chicago White Sox, State Representative Edward Acevedo, Spencer Leak Sr. of Leak and Sons Funeral Home, the organization Purpose Over Pain and the faith community of St. Sabina Church were also recognized.
ABC7's Ron Magers was master of ceremonies for the event.
