Man critically hurt in police-involved shooting

June 11, 2009 (CHICAGO) Police say a man ran from the car and officers ran after him. They say they cornered the man in an alley and he either pushed or lunged at an officer and the officer's gun accidently fired.

The man was shot in the head. He's was in critical condition at Stroger Hospital on Thursday night.
