Crimestoppers believes the robberies, which have taken place at numerous Auto Zone businesses, are related. In each incident, two offenders displayed handguns and made off with undisclosed amounts of cash.
"We're out here today with police support asking for help. Get them off the street," said George McDade, chairman, Cook County Crimestoppers.
An Auto Zone representative says the company has told its employees to be on heightened alert.
