Newt Gingrich will be in Milwaukee to raise campaign funds for gubernatorial hopeful and fellow Republican Scott Walker. The former Speaker of the House is scheduled to address the media for about 20 minutes Monday evening. His comments are expected to include an endorsement for Walker, the Milwaukee County executive since 2002.

Walker ran for governor in 2006 but dropped out as his fundraising lagged. He's running again in the 2010 election, where he'll face Appleton businessman Mark Todd. Former U.S. Rep. Mark Neumann is also expected to enter the race.

Gingrich has himself been mentioned as a possible presidential candidate in 2012. He says he's still weighing that decision.
