A former Chicago police officer has been sentenced to nearly 20 years in prison on corruption charges.Prosecutors say Mahmoud Shamah and his partner Richard Doroniuk stole $31,000 from self-storage lockers they thought were rented out by drug dealers.

They were caught on videotape stealing the money in 2006 because it was part of a FBI sting operation.

Doroniuk was sentenced to 11 years in prison on Tuesday.
