Best Buy to sell electric vehicles

July 6, 2009 Best Buy plans will stock the Enertia electric motorcycle by Brammo later this month. They are already selling electric bicycles, scooters and Segway transporters at several stores in California, Washington and Oregon.

The $12,000 Enertia electric motorcycle can travel about 45 miles with top speeds of about 50 miles per hour.

The company says it charges in about three hours using a regular wall outlet.

Best Buy has not released a date for when it will begin selling Enertia motorcycles.
