Wilton tea kettles recalled

July 9, 2009 The Woodridge, Ill.-based company says the lid on the tea kettle can come loose during handling, posing a burn hazard to the consumer.

Twenty-five injuries, including second-degree burns to hands and fingers, have been reported.

The kettles were sold at retailers nationwide from March of 2006 through June of 2009 for about $30.
