A group called The Black Star Project has launched a series of 'peace and hope patrols.'The group will organize groups of men to walk through Chicago neighborhoods to deliver positive messages.

The men hope to act as mentors and role models for children.

Organizers say Chicago doesn't need more police; they believe violence could be reduced with more jobs and educational opportunities.
