Work to begin on Eisenhower, Wacker Dr.

July 14, 2009 (CHICAGO) Two of the earliest projects will be on the Eisenhower Expressway and Wacker Drive.

In the spring crews will start resurfacing the Eisenhower from I-88 to the Circle Interchange. The 2-year project will also include major repairs to the Congress Bridge over the Chicago River.

Also in the spring, work will begin to reconstruct Upper and Lower Wacker Drive from Randolph to Congress That will be a 2 to 3 year project.
