Friends of the Chicago River put up five specially-designed kaleidoscopes along the Riverwalk near Michigan Avenue on Friday.
When you look through the view finder you'll see a picture imposed on the scene showing you what the river would be like with improvements, including a swimming area.
The inspiration came from several Swiss cities where the rivers were cleaned up so well. That they've become popular summer swimming spots.
