Prosecutors are urging a federal judge to keep the wiretaps of former governor Rod Blagojevich's phone conversations under wraps.Several media outlets want a judge to unseal the wiretaps, saying the public should have a chance to hear what Blagojevich said in the corruption scandal.

Blagojevich is charged with scheming to sell or trade President Barack Obama's U.S. Senate seat. But prosecutors said in court papers that the request is contrary to federal law and releasing the wiretaps would hurt ongoing criminal investigations.
