2 firefighters injured in Little Village fire

July 26, 2009 (CHICAGO) The fire broke out around 9 p.m. on Saturday at a thrift store in the 3200-block of West 26th Street in the Little Village neighborhood.

Officials say the fire started in the basement.

A residential building next door was evacuated as a precaution.

Two firefighters were treated for minor injuries.
