The crash happened Sunday night at 63rd and Woodlawn. Authorities say Latimer was drunk when he crashed his car into another vehicle and a light pole, then struck a 9-year old boy standing on the sidewalk. The child remains hospitalized in critical condition.
A 27-year-old passenger in Latimer's vehicle died.
