Study: X-ray machines help spread bacteria
August 6, 2009
A study at one hospital by the American College of Chest Physicians found adequate hygiene by technicians, and cleaning measures of x-ray equipment was performed only 10 percent of the time.
As a result, anti-biotic resistant bacteria was found on the machines 50 percent of the time.
