2nd teen charged in S. Shore murder

August 11, 2009 Cortez Reed, 17, of Chicago, is the second teen charged with killing 17-year-old Justin Daniels. Dennis Davis, 16, is also charged as an adult in Daniels' murder.

Daniels was shot and killed in the 6900-block of South Cornell Avenue Saturday night in what police say was a robbery gone bad.

Daniels' parents said he was a graduate of Gwendolyn Brooks College Prep. He was getting ready to attend Northland College in Wisconsin.
