In December, Krause filed numerous freedom of information requests, which produced documents that showed Crestwood officials used water from a tainted well to supplement treated Lake Michigan water.
The well has since been capped.
Water whistleblower turns to politics
August 11, 2009 Tricia Krause announced Tuesday that she is running for a seat on the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District. She said her focus will be to bring environmental accountability and leadership to the district.
