Chad Watson is a Mount Zion, Illinois native who lost his right leg above the knee and his left ankle was crushed when an IED exploded right after he got in a Humvee in Fallujah in 2006. He is now heading the Chicago office of the Wounded Warrior Project. He will be Alan Krashesky's guest on NewsViews.

August 16, 2009 This coming week, the Chicago Air & Water show will also be a time to focus on the country's wounded warriors. Servicemen and women recovering from amputations and other serious injuries sustained in Iraq and Afghanistan will be in Chicago to rehabilitate their spirits and raise awareness of The Wounded Warrior Project-- a nonprofit group which helps injured soldiers nationwide.
