Tickets were sold for the event, which included live and silent auctions and featured Bears memorabilia. Proceeds benefited Athletes for Life, a mentoring organization made up largely of former professional athletes.

August 22, 2009 (CHICAGO) Jim McMahon, the man who quarterbacked the team to the championship, celebrated his 50th birthday in Wrigleyville. Several of McMahon's teammates and coaches, along with other celebrities, showed up to roast the man once known as "the punky QB."
