Protestors are demanding answers about a police shooting that killed a 23-year-old man in south suburban Riverdale.Brandon Harper's family and their supporters marched outside a Riverdale board meeting on Tuesday night.

A police officer who said he feared for his life shot him in his car Thursday morning. But Harper's family says he was not armed.

"He took my 23-year-old son's life and I will never be the same," said Bedell Harper, mother of the victim.

"I've experienced some of the things that you all have gone through. I experienced that. But as your mayor, they will not," said Mayor Deyon Dean, Riverdale.

Mayor Dean said the officer who shot Brandon is now on administrative leave.
