Woman sought in fraud ring investigation

September 3, 2009 Authorities say Wenona L. White, 37, may be in the Chicago or South Bend area. She is wanted in connection with a theft and fraud investigation that began in Virginia and Washington D.C.

Authorities say the group stole wallets and bank information, created fake IDs and made bank transactions illegally since January 2007.

Authorities issued arrest warrants for ten suspects. While seven were captured, White is one of three still at large.

She is described as 5'6", 160 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. White is married and may be using the last name of "Lipsey." White is allegedly seven months' pregnant.
