There are plenty of upset parents over Oak Park and River Forest High School's first Friday night home football game which is taking place under recently installed lights. It's taking place September 18 coinciding with Rosh Hashana, the start of the Jewish new year.

Administrators posted an apology on the school's Web site saying the date for the game against Glenbard West was selected by the west suburban conference as one of only two possible dates.

The original game was slated for the 19th but changed to the 18th because village regulations do not allow stadium lights on Saturday or Sunday nights.
