Paper man suspected in attempted bank robbery

Sept. 5, 2009 (CHICAGO) The incident happened August 14 at a Bank of America Branch on South Ashland. Police say Sheldon McCommon walked in and handed a teller a note saying he had a bomb, but he left empty-handed.

An FBI task force member recognized the so-called "Orange Glove Bandit" as the man who sold newspapers at 95th and Western.

McCommon was being held without bond Saturday. Police say he is suspected in two other hold-ups.
