Maday was on the loose for about 24 hours late last week after overcoming two officers who were transporting him to a courthouse in Rolling Meadows. He was captured the next day after a car chase ended in a crash in West Chicago.
Maday is being held at the Metropolitian Correction Center in Chicago.
