UPS testing putting ads in packages

A worldwide delivery service may start targeting customers with direct marketing.The New York Times is reporting that UPS is testing a plan to deliver a packet of advertisements and coupons with each package deliveries.

UPS is hoping as customers watch their budgets during the recession they will appreciate the money-saving coupons.

UPS will receive money for delivering the ads.
