Political candidates gather for Chicago forum

Candidates for governor, the U.S. Senate and other high offices spoke Saturday at a candidates forum on Chicago's West Side.Congressman Danny Davis hosted the forum, which featured two Democratic hopefuls for governor: Comptroller Dan Hynes, and Bill "Dock" Walls.

Gov. Pat Quinn was returning from the Olympics voting in Denmark Saturday.

The U.S. Senate primary includes former Chicago Inspector General David Hoffman, and the on-leave Chicago Urban League President Cheryl Jackson.

The third Democrat in the race, state Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias, did not attend.
