Meals on Wheels benefit to feature chefs

October 13, 2009 (CHICAGO) Every year, it delivers more than 40,000 hot meals to the homebound elderly and disabled. But the organization couldn't do it without your help.

This Friday night, Meals on Wheels will welcome more than 80 chefs to Macy's on State Street for the annual Celebrity Chef's Ball. It's a two-tiered event with a fancier, sit-down reception at 6 p.m., which has just sold out.

There will also be a livelier tasting party and dessert bar beginning at eight.
