A unique operation was under way at the Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago Friday afternoon. The 'patient' was a 3,500-lb. fire truck cab.

The cab was hoisted up 200 feet to the 12th floor of the hospital.

This is no ordinary truck cab, as it will be handicapped-accessible and feature interactive games and activities for patients.

Pierce Manufacturing donated the cab.

Incidentally, the hospital is right across the street from Chicago Fire Department Engine 98.
