March turns into protest against officer

An annual march to mark the brutal murder of a gay college student turned into a protest against a Chicago police officer Saturday.The Gay Liberation Network used the Matthew Shepard March to demand the city take action against Officer Richard Fiorito.

As ABC7 Chicago first reported, Fiorito is the subject of multiple federal lawsuits accusing him of arresting gay and lesbian motorists in the Boystown neighborhood and framing them for DUI offenses.

Fiorito is on administrative leave.
