Officials are warning people to be careful around a Northwest Side building that was gutted by fire Sunday night. Because of the damage, there are concerns the building in the 5600-block of West Belmont could collapse.

People are not allowed on the sidewalk and part of the street in front of the building is blocked to traffic.

The fire broke out Sunday night in a resale clothing store and quickly engulfed the building. The flames broke out just before 9 p.m. Sunday at 5617 West Belmont. There's been no word on a cause. No one was hurt.
