Former Chicago Streets and Sanitation Commissioner Al Sanchez is back in court Monday where a federal judge is expected to review his corruption conviction.Sanchez was found guilty earlier this year of rigging hiring and promotions in his department. His defense attorney claims prosecutors failed to disclose that one of their witnesses was an alleged gang member and drug trafficker.

Sanchez's defense team says that information would have discredited the witness.

According to the Tribune, prosecutors argue that the oversight was unintentional, and the witness's testimony was a minor part of their case.
