Man convicted of soliciting wife's murder free

October 19, 2009 (CHICAGO) James J. Kelly, Junior was released Monday from the Dixon Correctional Center.

Kelly received parole after serving 14 years of a 35 year sentence.

His ex-wife, Jayne Kelly, was discovered stabbed in her Naperville townhouse back in 1991.

The couple had a bitter custody battle.

James Kelly maintained his innocence.

According to the Daily Herald, Kelly must now wear an electronic monitoring device while on supervised release and must not have contact with his three children who are now grown.
